Hobgoblins are the remnants of an ancient empire that ruled all of Khorvaire. Today, they have established themselves in the new nation of Darguun. The hobgoblins of the lowland and highland tribes are brutal warriors, and many others still serve as mercenaries across the continent. Among the Dhakaani clans, the hobgoblins are highly trained and disciplined warriors, few in numbers, but extremely deadly.

Racial Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increase by 1.

Size. Medium

Speed. 30 feet

Darkvision. Thanks to your goblinoid blood you have excellent vision in darkness. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Goblin.

Brutal. When you have advantage on an attack, you may give up advantage to add 1d8 to your damage roll instead.

Always Prepared. You add your proficiency bonus to your Initiative checks.
