 By age 14, Bull (a nickname given to him by the other kids at the orphanage) was working full-time for the thieves guild.  Although he did not enjoy the work he did, he took some solace in the fact that due to his great strength and speed, he rarely was forced to hurt anyone... most people had enough sense not to stay out of his way.

Immediate motivations will probably be financial in nature (on the run from the guild means no money coming in, no food to eat, and no shelter), but he has long been shunned by people for his appearance and social standing, so if he were to find friends who treated him well, he would probably follow them to hell and back.
